>Wet Socks helping a cold?

>So everyone in my son’s class has had a cold. I volunteered in the class and spent most of the time asking the kids to get a tissue and washing my hands.

Even though we all take great vitamins with lots of antioxidants, my son caught the cold the following week. I did all the usual remedies, Chinese herbal formulas, sleep, liquids, etc. And then I remembered a wet sock treatment someone recently told me about. I thought, well why not? It’s worth a try. So as my son slept, I put damp cotton socks on his feet and covered them with my warm ski socks. He did wake up in the process and said he didn’t like the wet socks, but then went right back to sleep. I assured him this would help him feel better. And it did. I even tried it on myself as I was starting to get that scratchy throat feeling. I woke up feeling great with no signs of sore throat. My son was able to sleep without coughing or congestion.

Curious as to why this worked, my husband found a website with more details. Check it out and give it a try during this cold and flu season. And remember to get lots of sleep and take your supplements.
