>Increase energy with relationships

>Energy gets blocked when we don’t have enough healthy contact with other human beings. Several scientific studies show the lack of relationships has been shown to contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, cancer, heart disease and substance abuse.

Spend time with people you enjoy and respect. Stay away from relationships based in fear, possessiveness and insecurity. Focus on developing sustainable, supportive relationships based in kindness, presence and love. (Experience Life, June 2011)

I have to validate this as I spent the weekend with my dear friend Mindy. We were child-free for 2 whole days and actually watched a movie in the middle of the day. We laughed and shared life experiences. We support each other in our challenges and give encouragement.

We also had some adventures. We did indoor skydiving. I was nervous at first, but trusted my friend as this was her second time. She was absolutely right, it was an amazing experience. If you ever have the opportunity, I highly recommend it. As you enter the wind chamber, you relax forward and in an instant the air lifts you. You can’t help but smile. At one point, the instructor reminded me to relax and stop thinking so much. Boy is that great advice for me in several areas of my life. The whole experience lifted my spirit and filled me with joy. And, by the way, I think flight instructors are like firefighters, they’re pretty darn good looking.
